COLLEGE BAR CRAWL FOR NEW VIDEO SERIES
Former Real World and Road Rules Cast Members to Travel to Schools Nationwide
Los Angeles, CA (October 20, 2003) What do you get when you bring together several generations of cast members from MTV’s wildly popular Real World and Road Rules series? The Reality Bar Crawl. This fall college students from across the country will be able to meet and party with their favorite reality stars as The Reality Bar Crawl Fall 2003 College Tour rolls into towns nationwide to shoot video footage at local bars and clubs for a new video series. The tour, which kicks off in Nashville, TN and Louisville, KY on October 28, 2003 will travel to more than 50 cities nationwide on the 16-passenger Bar Crawl Tour Bus.
The Reality Bar Crawl’s live cameras will be inside the clubs and on the tour bus to capture all the action, interviews, fan interaction and contests taking place each night. Making stops in Washington, DC, New York City, Dallas, Philadelphia, Baltimore and many other cities, the tour will conclude in December. The footage collected from the tour will be used for an eight volume video series on the tour as well as individual cast member videos slated for a February release. The tour is being produced by Los Angeles-based Fathem Entertainment.
In addition, Reality Casting Calls will be “casting America for tomorrow’s reality star.” With more than 40 upcoming reality shows the casting service will be taking applications looking for new talent and personalities. The casting calls will be held at venues in select cities as part of the tour.
Former cast members of Real World and Road Rules have been split into four different tours, which will rotate to different cities visiting the hottest bars each night. The tours include: The Old School Tour - Eric Nies from the first season of Real World New York and Mark Long from the first season of Road Rules; The Real World Paris Tour – Ace Amerson and Christina Trainor; The Real World Paris Tour Part Deux – Mallory Snyder and Adam King, whose season ends November 7th on MTV; and The Road Rules Tour - David Giuntoli and Abram Boise from Road Rules 12 – South Pacific. All three cast members from The Road Rules Tour can currently be seen on the Road Rules/Real World Challenge – The Gauntlet.
